Ideas for Vusion Manager

Problem:

The credentials required for the use of vLink are a shared-secret, configured most easily with the shared-secret embedded in a QR code for configuration. My firm uses the Okta platform for identity and access management.

Narrative:

My firm would like to eliminate the shared-secret credentials used to authorize users to interact with a store location using the vLink application. While the QR code configuration of the shared-secret is convenient, the nature of shared-secrets increases security risks.

The Okta platform is widely used for identity and access management. A vLink integration with Okta would allow my firm to manage users much more easily which subsequently reduces the risk of unauthorized users.

Proposed Solution:

Create an individual user log-in/credentialing system for vLink. Integrate this new credentialing system with Okta
