I would like to add i would also like to have the ability to set the Display Refresh to Recurrent as approx. half of our tags are only updated every 6 weeks. That is a long time to go between refreshes so having a way to have the tags refresh every 1-2 weeks without having to change any information on the tag would be helpful. If we only had a small number of stores, scheduling individual refresh's would be simple, but we already have 130 stores and will have 2,300 within a year.
I know we can use the V:Link Pro /stores/{storeId}/labels/displays/refresh API to do a one time refresh but it would be nice if we could set all tags to refresh on a specific date/time each week. If you are concerned about battery life, how about setting a condition that only tags over a certain # of days will refresh?

Today you can already view if your labels are updated correctly or not.
If the labels are "Synchronized" that means that they have received the latest image and they are up to date. No need to set a smartrefresh every morning. Just review the "unreachable" labels and check if they need an update or not.
Besides, the system is doing automatic retries when the labels did not receive the latest images.

Dear Karen,
The Refresh and Display refresh are tasks that should only be used by the support team for very specific actions. So we will not implement those two.
Regarding the Smartrefresh, why would you need a recurrent task?
Can you please explain the use case ?
