Some product’s barcodes sometimes start with "0".
When those products are read, the "JAN code with the first digit" 0 "” (13 digits) has the same bar pattern as "UPC-A" (12 digits) with the "0" removed in V:Link app.
---Ideal behavior---
If we want to enter "JAN code with" 0 "in the first digit" in 13 digits, we want to set "Convert UPC-A to JAN / EAN-13" in V:Link app.
With this setting, it will be processed as 13 digits with "0" at the beginning.

Would you please consider this additional ideas?
Thanks.

Dear customer,
We suggest you add a non-leading 0 code to “references” filed in studio it can related to item code. It works when you use VLINK to matching and search items.

Dear Emmanuelle
Thank you for everything!
Our Japanese customer will begin to use V;Link for all store.
When I read the attached file,
The correct value is 049123456789, but the VLINK camera reads 49123456789.
There are many Item's codes starting from 0 in Japan.
I would be very grateful if you could help me.
Dear customer,
Thank you very much for your feedback. Let me investigate this topic and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Dear Emmanuelle
Thank you for your reply.

No. If we read a JAN code that starts with 0, that 0 will be gone.
Not as it is, VLINK is designed to erase 0 without permission.
for example, we read "0491234567891" but VLink camera read "491234567891".
Please check it?
Thanks.

Dear customer,
Thank you for this idea but unfortunately we are not going to implement it.
Today VLink is reading the items codes as is, without doing any changes. If you need to make some changes on your items code, you can do it directly on your setting through studio.

Emmanuelle
