Oauth 2.0 for the API

Ferguson Supplies (21$B$ in revenue, 270 stores, 8M$ deal) would like to have the Oauth 2.0 implemented for the API for the following reasons :

  • it is the industry standard as far as security is concerned

  • It is preferable to have multiple tokens in the Oauth 2.0 that are renewed on a time basis, instead of having one API key that can be intercepted and can only be regenerated manually

  • To bet set up as a certified vendor for the roll-out, SES would need to develop this feature.

We would need to have this implemented for January 2023.

Could you please add this feature to the RND roadmap?

    Hello Quentin,

    Thank you for your idea. This is already into our Roadmap but not a priority. It will not be available for January, but later next year.
