This option is needed to be used in "combo" with the task that takes the BATTERY STATUS on the ESL in V:Cloud. This task by himself is not updating the ESL if there is a change in the battery status.
Thank you for your idea. Unfortunately, we have removed all refresh / display refresh task and so one to avoid any customer doing a regular update of the label.
The task you are asking will automatically impact the battery lifetime of the label and also the warranty associated. There is too much risk for a customer to complain about display update quotas that he did not really "use" because they don't get the impact of such task.
If they want to use this functionnality with an automatic switch of the label, they need to go for Asset Management.
