Ideas for Vusion Manager

Our customer wants to know the number of ESLs at which the battery health is likely to be BAD.

Hello AHA team.

Thank you for your supporting everyday.

Our customer wants to know the number of ESLs at which the battery health is likely to be BAD.

■ Reason:

・Our customers replace hundreds of ESL batteries every day.

・Thery are replacing the ESL battery that has become BAD.

・They want to predict the number of batteries required for a certain period of time.

・In the current situation, it is difficult to schedule a battery replacement.

→ One day, the number of BADs will suddenly increase.

■ Countermeasures

・Please send me battery data (raw data) for one week of all ESLs of Nojima, my customer. (This was requested by the APAC team to write by me on the AHA.)

■ Solution

・I want you to create a mechanism to find ESL that is likely to become BAD.

    Dear Masui san,

    Thank you for your feedbacks.

Unfortunately, we are not able to predict when our battery are likely to be bad, the batteries that we are using are not linear and do not allow us to give a % of remaining battery.

This is why we only provide the current battery status (Good/Bad).

However, using our tool Asset Management, you will be able :

1/ To know since when your label are in bad battery (=> we provide the bad battery date)

2/ You can insert our quota of display updates & Flash recommendations for a 5-year lifetime and monitor the labels that are overconsumming and likely to be out of battery before the estimated time period.

You can ask our PM team to help you analyse data on that tool.

    Best,

    Emmanuelle
