Issue:
Customers who use their own matching application, consequently send matching and item data with the therefor available API calls separatly to V:Cloud. At some customers this tasks are processed in their system asychron so they cannot influence if the matching or the item data is send first to the V:Cloud.
This results in the situation that they have a lot of labels showing the “unknown product” page when the matching is processed in V:cloud before the item integration.
Due to the asychron processing of the tasks they cannot influence if matching or item is send first, which means that they also cannot use the new “sync with matching” parameter in this case.
Request:
The feature request is to introduce an API call which enables the customer to send matching and item data within one API call similar to the POST labels/pages call for images and item data or similar to POST labels/displays, where customer can send matching and item data within one API call without storing the data in V:Cloud. The goal is to provide one API call where the customer can send matching data and item data and the data get stored in V:Cloud. Additionally, there will be the advantage of reducing the number of API calls made by the customer per matching.
customer who would serve from the feature are those using a custom link application, which sends the matchings first to customer ERP system and then matching and item data to V:Cloud.
Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place, but I have seen that this is in the June update(!). I don't see any information on how to post both in one call and in which call. Can you add that information in the release notes or here (but I think there are more people wanting to use this option).
Thanks
Stefan

Hi Nathalie,
We have decided to accept this idea. It will be planned for 2024, but I don't have the exact date for now.
Best,
