I added two 'other' AP's with AUTO channel and they were perfectly visible in my dashboard. When I changed them to a specific manual channel, they disappeared...
After adding them again as AUTO (same ID, no error saying they already were there), a minute later they reappeared in my dashboard with the correct channel setting.
