Hello
When setting an AP for the first time, we cannot configure it using VCloud alone.
We must always log in locally to reset its clock information.
This is known to occur because the clock information on the provisioning server is incorrect, and can be fixed by manually logging into the AP and correcting it.
The APAC team says this is by design.
I think it would be much easier to set up an AP with just VCloud, but would you please improve it?
■ASIS in setting AP:
1.Setting in VCloud
2.AP become offline
3.I change AP's time informaion in AP's local
4.AP become online
5.AP become offline
6.I change AP's time informaion in AP's local (2nd time)
7. AP become online
Finish
◆TOBE in setting AP:
1.Setting in VCloud
Finish
→It is very smart!

Hi,
Thank you for this idea.
Unfortunately this modification is not on the software side but on the AP hardware side.
I will forward your request to the team.
Best,
Emmanuelle
I received the following response from APAC
> I cannot set Cloud point on the first time without local access. The first time I register an AP with VCloud, the AP goes offline. The cause of this is I known. If I reset the local time in AP, it will be able to go online normally. Is it normal to do this? Please confirm.
Hello Masui-san
Yes, it is normal.
CloudPoint's default NTP server is the provisioning server
But when the system time of the AP is wrong, the provisioning server does not allow the AP to access it.
So, the time cannot be updated when the AP time is wrong. Only when the time is correct can the default NTP server be accessed.
It's a bit strange, but this is the current design
Thanks very much
