Ideas for Vusion Manager

Please enable the character “+” in the API account you are registering!

I want to use an alias for the email address registered as an API account.
It's an operational issue.
This is to eliminate the burden on our customers.
Please allow an API account to contain "+".
We request resolution by December 31, 2024.

    Answer yuor questions.(sorry for my bad english...)


    We(=TOPPAN) are a partner company in the Japanese market.

    We support that are the hub as the service provision of your company's solution "V:Cloud".

    Using your company's API, we are building a system that is easy for Japanese customers to use.

    Once the customer decides to install, apply for an API key using the following steps:

    1) Get email addresses from customers.

    2) We(=TOPPAN) will apply to your company(=VUSION-Gropu) for the email address we have obtained.

    3) Information for issuing an API key from your company will be sent to this email address.

    4) The customer logs in to the URL provided in the email and issues an API key.

    5) After that, the customer will notify us of the API key issued to us(=TOPPAN).

    6) We(=TOPPAN) will register the received API key in TOPPAN's system.

    We(=TOPPAN) manage service operations.

    Also includes API key.

    Items 1) to 4) above will be borne by the customer.

    Therefore, we will take steps 1) to 4) on custemer's behalf.


    But there's a problem.

    a) Duplicate email addresses are not allowed.(V:Cloud specification)

    b) Support members cannot have multiple email addresses.(TOPPAN policy)


    Therefore, we thought that the solution could be to ensure uniqueness using an alias.

    However, I found out that "+" is not allowed in the API account, so I requested that it be allowed.

    As long as you can issue API keys for each customer using the same address, any method is fine.


    Please consider it.

    Could you please give us more context for this request ?

    As for now, adding multiple users under the same email is not and will not be allowed for security reasons
