The integration of a BO file usually takes a few minutes. Users are aware of this and believe that the ESL display will be reflected a short time after they send the BO file.
However, in reality, integration can take a long time and the data may not be reflected in the ESL. In the worst case, this can lead to complaints from customers due to price errors, which is a serious problem.
In fact, such a complaint occurred at a user's store. In that case, it took 40 hours for the integration to be completed.
It is possible to know about integration processing delays in Events in V:Manager. However, in principle, BO file integrations are performed automatically and in large numbers by the system, so it is not realistic for users to check each and every integration. If this email alert function existed, it would be possible to notice when the display has not yet been updated and take action in advance (resend the BO file, use paper price tags instead, etc.) There is an email alert function for integration failures, but there is no email alert for when integrations take a long time. I think this is a very useful function that can prevent complaints from customers. I would like to see this function added.
